Hello All,

     I am Santosh Pandey popularly known as Santosh Sir among the Civil Service Examination (CSE) aspirant community. I have the unique distinction of cracking IAS Prelims Exam all 6 times with highest marks. I cracked CSE Mains 4 times and have experience of appearing 4 IAS interviews. Apart from being a CSE instructor, I am a professional motivational speaker and a trained yoga teacher too. I was super excited and am still on cloud nine seeing the CSE 2019 final results. After my attempts were over, I had many choices to go back to a corporate job or pursue other exams, etc. But I felt that God has entrusted upon me an immense responsibility to enlighten civil service aspirants. Why would he help be crack all 6 CSE Prelims with the highest marks and send me to 4 IAS interviews if ultimately he had decided I won’t join IAS.I felt it as command and message from GOD to take my immense experience in the welfare of CSE aspirants. I had only one thing in my mind no one should be denied good quality guidance. I personally felt that there is huge gap in quality of guidance. Many websites and guidance had cropped up from 2013 but the concern was quality.

Let me tell you when I started guiding I soon discovered the reason for poor quality. Most of the people who were guiding had little experience of mains exam and literally no experience of CSE interview. I made it a point that I will never be part of this crowd. I wanted to stand apart from this crass commercialization of education. I started guiding on platforms like Quora and in the very first year I was able to predict most of the prelims questions. On one hand I received immense support from sincere aspirants on the other hand I was harassed by few people for guiding you all?  The harassment went to levels of Quora messages, telegram messages, WhatsApp to threats. I have proof of all this. Any ordinary soul under such immense pressure would have given up on you. But how could I disobey God?  I persevered in wake of so many harassment just for you.

Let me ask you few blunt questions?

Which mentor / guide in India have transparently talked about their UPSC attempts (success / failures)?

Which mentor guide has cracked all 6 Prelims?

Which mentor has scored consistently around 150 in prelims?

Which mentor has appeared 4 IAS interviews?

Who on earth gets up at 4 O’Clock in the morning daily for the sake of students?

Today I am happy all my sufferings got rewarded in form of success of my students. For a few, I trained them at all the three levels of exams and for another few, I joined hands to help with Mains and Personality Test.

I am a simple human being with an old laptop trying to reach out the aspirant community and wishing to guide them reach their destination – LBSNAA, directing through all my means. I run a channel named https://optimizeias.com/ask-santosh-sir-offical-the-ias-aspirant-portal/, a public Q&A forum in telegram posting preparation routines and clarifying all the queries via the channel. Within a very few days of CSE 19 results, my telegram channel grew up to 15K+ subscribers and still it is counting. I am so happy that my budding CSE community is blooming with my guidance.
